Leonardo DiCaprio has been supporting Teyana Taylor amid the fallout from his messy breakup with basketball star Iman Shumpert, according to inside sources who insisted the co-stars are nothing more than friends.
Teyana, 33, and DiCaprio, 49, who is currently dating model Vittoria Ceretti, 26, surprised last week after they were photographed looking “cozy” at a party she hosted in honor of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Manhattan hotspot The Stafford Room.
But despite reports claiming the pair seemed “cozy” and spent “the whole night” together, insiders have revealed that DiCaprio has been helping Teyana with her breakup and career since they struck up a friendship in the upcoming film , The Battle of Baktan Cross.
“They are not dating, but they are very close and have been giving each other a lot of advice recently,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

The source explained that Leonardo has also become something of a mentor to the singer-turned-actress, who stars in the new Dionne Warwick biopic.
“Teyana is transitioning into becoming a big Hollywood star and appreciates the help Leo has given her navigating the space,” they continued. “They get along very well and have recently spent some time together.”
Teyana and Iman fought in court for months after it was confirmed in September 2023 that they had ended their seven-year marriage.

Despite their hopes to keep things amicable, the couple soon found themselves caught in a legal tug-of-war over child support payments: Iman said he is comfortable paying $8,000 a month for their children, eight-year-old Junie, and Rue, three.
In January, the Titanic hunk was photographed touching Teyana on the butt while filming their new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, which also stars Regina Hall, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro.
Two months later, DiCaprio was seen hugging Teyana in a video from WME’s pre-Oscar event.
In April 2024, Teyana dismissed any speculation that they were romantically linked, but gushed that he was “the best” and always “lifts up” those she works with.
