Australian breakdancer Rachel Gunn has returned home to Australia in high spirits after becoming an overnight sensation during the inaugural women’s competition at the Paris Olympics.

Gunn, who uses the stage name Raygun, was spotted arriving at Sydney International Airport on Monday morning with her husband and trainer Samuel Free.

Dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, the 37-year-old looked decidedly cheerful as she strolled through the terminal.

The break dancer instantly became a meme for her routine at the Olympics, which became the most talked-about moment of the event.
