Olivia Dunne joked about being left off Team USA's Olympic gymnastics roster

Olivia Dunne joked about not competing in this year’s Paris Summer Olympics with a hilarious TikTok video.

Days after the Team USA gymnastics roster for the Paris Games was finalized, Dunne joked about being left off the team to her 8 million followers on the platform.

Dunne posted a 14-second montage of his saddest moments to sarcastically lament the snub. The botched takedowns and falls were accompanied by a bass-boosted version of the national anthem.

“I am very sad to announce that I have not been selected for the 2024 Olympics,” she wrote with a disappointed emoji.

“They despised me,” she added in the caption.

The U.S. gymnastics team will be led by Simone Biles and teammates Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera. Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong will travel with the team as replacement athletes.

The video appeared just a day after Dunne told the New York Post where she is with her gymnastics career, including the Olympics.

Dunne concluded her senior season with LSU gymnastics as part of the program’s first NCAA national championship team in April.

“I’m eligible for a fifth year, but I haven’t decided yet,” he told the Post. “I’m thinking about it… But I’m eligible for one more year at LSU.”

“I don’t think I’ll try to make the Olympics or anything like that after that, as I competed for Team USA once and closed that chapter and went to LSU.”
