Netflix announced Monday to its 22.5 million followers on X/Twitter the addition to its library with a series of numbers that are important to the plot of the series.

Netflix and Disney have reached a deal in 2023 to jointly stream certain shows, including Lost and ABC’s hit series Grey’s Anatomy, according to Variety.
In 2009, Netflix agreed to a deal with Disney/ABC to obtain streaming rights to the show, and Hulu regained exclusive rights in 2018, the outlet reported.
The story of the series focuses on the people who survived a crash on a plane heading from Sydney to Los Angeles.
The series’ cast includes Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Yunjin Kim, Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Terry O’Quinn, Naveen Andrews, Michael Emerson, Dominic Monaghan and Ken Leung.
The numbers included in the initial tweet (4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42) had multiple meanings in relation to the program.
They referenced lottery numbers played by Garcia’s character, Hugo “Hurley” Reyes; atomic numbers; and numbers in an equation that predicted “a bad omen,” according to the outlet.
Several fans took to social media to celebrate the news, with one calling the series the “BEST TV SHOW OF ALL TIME,” while another said the news hit him with a “wave of nostalgia.”
