Wimbledon midfielder Harry Pell angered MK Dons fans ahead of Saturday’s heated clash by apparently smashing balls into a crowd of fans during the pre-match warm-up.
An MK Dons group are now set to lodge a formal complaint against Pell following his actions which aggravated away supporters before the League Two clash began.
Pell rejoined Wimbledon on a second loan spell after moving from Accrington in the summer and appeared to use part of his warm-up to outrage Dons supporters in the away section of the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
The 32-year-old was filmed by a fan inside the field taking a ball and launching a shot into the stands with a right foot that bounced among the fans.
Pell was named among the Wimbledon substitutes by manager Johnnie Jackson, who saw his team register three valuable points, courtesy of Ronan Curtis’ goal in added time.
