Children at a daycare center in Sydney’s west were not injured when an out-of-control car crashed into the building’s entrance on Friday morning.
The red 2023 Toyota LandCruiser Prado crashed through the walls and front door of Kids World Kindy on Guildford’s Palmer Street at around 10.15am
But surprisingly no one inside the building or in the car was injured in the incident.
Staff and children were evacuated from the badly damaged building through a rear exit while emergency services treated the driver in the centre’s car park.
Worried parents flocked to the center to pick up their children after the accident, but were relieved to discover that everyone had escaped unharmed.
“The kids are fine, they’re all nice,” one parent said. “Everyone is fine.”

Police launched an investigation into the accident and took statements from witnesses.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident and the driver, aged in her 30s, is assisting in the investigations.
“Upon arrival, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command located a red Toyota SUV that had collided with a wall,” a police spokesperson said.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was subjected to a roadside breathalyzer test, which gave a negative result.
‘No injuries were reported due to this incident. The woman is assisting police in their investigation.
