After months of dominating the NFL spotlight, Taylor Swift could become the sound of March Madness in the coming weeks.

Swift was front and center at NFL games and telecasts last season due to her high-profile relationship with Travis Kelce – the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

But its undeniable reach has apparently extended to college basketball as it was named one of coaches’ favorite NCAA Tournament performances in a poll of their musical tastes.

CBS asked all 68 coaches had to compete to name their favorite band or singer and BYU’s Mark Pope surprisingly named Swift as his first choice, even selecting his five favorite songs.

The 51-year-old chose Cornelia Street, New Year’s Day, Karma, All Too Well (specifying the 10-minute version) and Cruel Summer.

He revealed that Swift is his daughters’ favorite artist and that their love for Kelce’s girlfriend has rubbed off on him. They regularly listen to his songs together and this has led him to become a huge fan.

Other great artists from the Eastern region – the only one where every artist was different – included Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney and Jeremy Camp.

Ed Sheeran received a notable shout-out from TJ Otzelberger, who admitted that he “attended several shows in various cities last summer.” His work on the (guitar) pedals is absolutely outrageous!’

In the South, the situation was extremely varied, with John Calipari of the University of Kentucky, who revealed that he listened to very little music, siding with Drake.

Marquette’s Shaka Smart went with 2Pac while there were a few old-school choices in the form of Queen and the Beatles. North Carolina State’s Kevin Keatts and Boise State’s Leon Rice both opted for Michael Jackson.

Jackson was also popular in the Midwest, with John Groce of Akron and Rodney Terry of Texas both choosing the King of Pop.

Prince and Earth Wind & Fire were equally popular while Jay-Z received the nod from Saint Peter’s Bashir Mason.

In the West, Wagner’s Donald Copeland gave Jay-Z the third shout out of 68 while Tom Izzo chose the Jackson Five, giving him the most selections (4) of any individual artist.

The action officially begins Tuesday night with the first four games.

The defending champion UConn Huskies earned the top seed in the NCAA Tournament, joined by Houston, Purdue and North Carolina as No. 1 seeds.

Of these top teams, only UConn enters the tournament off a win. The rest lost in their conference tournaments, but those weren’t the only surprises in the final weekend of hoops before the sport’s main event takes center stage.

UConn (31-3) has lost just once since Dec. 20 and won its first Big East Tournament title since 2011 SATURDAY. Then came the first regional berth in the NCAAs for the first time since a Final Four in 2009 and the sixth time overall.

Huskies, which dominates the slice of the Eastern regionare trying to become college basketball’s first repeat champion since Florida in 2006 and 2007.
