Three teenagers have been arrested following an incident at a shopping center where one of them was allegedly seen brandishing a knife.
Police were called to the Westfield center in Liverpool, south-west Sydney, about 8.40pm on Tuesday after shoppers allegedly saw a teenager with a knife.
The teenager was among six other people who were walking through the center and were later alerted by police.
Officers searched a 15-year-old boy and allegedly found a knife.
Other youths aged 15 and 17 were arrested for alleged bail breaches.
The three teenagers were taken to Liverpool Police Station, and one of the 15-year-olds was charged with custody of a knife in a public place.
The other teens were charged with bail jumping and all three will appear in Juvenile Court on Wednesday.
