Kylie Jenner is being mocked on social media after launching a swimwear collection shortly after her eponymous swimwear line failed miserably.

When the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star announced she was launching Khy Vacation Shop with ‘A buttery soft swimsuit with 90s-inspired silhouettes, her followers weren’t convinced it would be any different from her previous swimwear line.

The 26-year-old billionaire launched her swimwear line in 2021 and social media was flooded with scathing reviews criticising the poor quality of the pieces, which were described as practically see-through.

In early July, the reality star shared the news on Instagram that she would be launching another swimwear line through her new brand, Khy, and immediately received backlash in her comments section on TikTok and YouTube.

The collection is receiving mixed reviews, and while some people like it more than Kylie Swim, others are questioning why she feels the need to continue creating swimwear.

In Kylie’s Instagram comments section, the reception from her 398 million followers to Khy’s 008 release was pretty negative.

“Wasn’t her last swimwear line awful? Why would anyone buy clothes from her?” one user wondered.

Another person begged the mother of two: “Please not with the girl in the swimsuit again.”

“I think the internet is still traumatized by Kylie Swim,” one person recalled.

“So did you have any leftover Kylie swim gear or what?” one commenter asked.

Several people pointed out that the swimsuits were only flattering on people with the Kardashians’ physiques, with one writing: “This looks so cheap and flat on normal bodies (like mine).”

Many people wondered how this would be different from the failed swim line, with one wondering, “I don’t understand how this would be different from Kylie Swim since she hasn’t addressed it yet… different manufacturer? different materials?”

Austin, Texas resident Jessica tried on the one-piece swimsuit and joked that her entire body would be exposed and the bottom would look like a baggy diaper.

Jessica then tried on the corset tankini, which she had a hard time fitting into and said she thought they used Kylie’s waist as a model and even needed someone to help her put it on.

The swimsuit designer summed it up by saying, “You failed again, Kylie.”

YouTube creator Mia Maples, 25, weighed in by sharing a nearly 20-minute video Honest review Kylie’s swimwear, telling her 4.4 million subscribers: ‘Kylie Jenner has decided to dive back into swimwear after the incredible flop that was Kylie Swim.’

Mia, who lives outside Edmonton, Canada, previously reviewed Khy’s other three collections.

“They’re not really that innovative,” Mia said, calling the swimsuits “pretty basic” and explaining that most of the items haven’t sold out.

Mia noted that the new swimsuits were lined, had better seams, and had a larger gusset, but she preferred tops with a layer of padding and looked for bandeaus that weren’t too tight.

She praised the “buttery soft” material, but said the top slid up because she didn’t have “big boobs.”

Mia said she could actually see herself wearing these swimsuits, unlike Kylie Swim, who she previously criticized and saved for comparison.

The San Antonio, Texas native tried on the corset swimsuit top and said the brand was no longer giving her any freebies after being honest about its sizing and fit inconsistencies in the past.

Stella said she was glad she went up a size and compared it to Kylie Swim, which didn’t carry plus sizes but still featured plus-size models on the website.

“I don’t want to be too picky,” she said, before showing off the fraying of the corset, though she ultimately thought it looked fine, despite the microskirt showing off her backside.

Stella and Jessica weren’t the only two women who had problems with the swim corset.

On TikTok, Leah Rodriguez She shared a video and wrote: “I should have known,” showing a video of her already frayed corset.

“Thanks Kylie Jenner for round two of f**king swimsuits,” she wrote, showing the plastic underwires already poking out of the unworn swimsuit corset.
