ITV News viewers have expressed concern after a presenter appeared to stumble over his words and struggle to read news bulletins.

Rageh Omaar, 56, international affairs editor at ITV News, was reviewing the day’s top stories when he suddenly became incoherent while on air.

ITV+1 subsequently removed the show from its reruns. A message on the screen said: ‘We will be back soon. We are temporarily unable to offer you our +1 service.

Mr. Omaar is seen in the video, appearing shaky and having difficulty speaking.

Viewers were quick to voice their concerns on social media, with one user saying: “I hope he’s okay and there’s nothing serious.”

Another said: ‘What happened to him? Is he okay and why didn’t they take him off the air?’

While a third said: “I thought he was just having problems with the auto signal but I hope he feels better.”
