Christina Aguilera is arguably one of the biggest pop stars of a generation.
But after being away from the spotlight for several years, she recently returned with a series of live performances and a dramatic, rejuvenated appearance.
Fans first speculated about the 43-year-old singer’s appearance in May, following a performance in Mexico in which she appeared to have “traveled through time,” sporting an ultra-slim, youthful appearance.
Their immediate conclusion was that the Genie in a Bottle singer had accelerated her path to dramatic weight loss by using injections of the blockbuster slimming drug Ozempic.
“Ozempic ages everyone horribly but honestly she’s doing great. She looks amazing,” one fan speculated.

Now, cosmetic doctors have weighed in and suggested the singer’s new look is likely the result of a “miracle” weight-loss injection as well as facial surgery. London-based cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr Jonny Betteridge said he suspects the mother-of-two has undergone a facelift, eyelid surgery and extensive dental work.
“Ozempic’s best results yet. She looks amazing,” another agreed, with a third adding: “That’s Ozempic Aguilera.”
Now, cosmetic doctors have weighed in, suggesting the singer’s new look is likely the result of a “miracle” weight-loss injection as well as facial surgeries.
London-based cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr Jonny Betteridge said he suspects the mother-of-two has undergone a facelift, eyelid surgery and extensive dental work.
“The weight change in such a short period of time could be attributed to the use of Ozempic and I also believe that she would have dissolved all the filler in her face before undergoing some surgical treatments,” she said.
In a TikTok video viewed more than 400,000 times, the former emergency room doctor The doctor commented on the marked difference between Aguilera’s look now, compared to her ‘pillowface’ look seen in 2022.
“A few years ago, she went through a phase where she had too much dermal filler that gave her a pillow-faced appearance,” she said.
‘We could see it predominantly in the middle area of the face, the cheeks and the lips.
‘Over time, a combination of too much dermal filler and a general change in her weight caused this facial fullness.’
Medications such as steroids, used to relieve inflammatory conditions, can also cause fluid buildup and lead to swelling in the arms, hands, ankles, legs, face, and other parts of the body.
Of Betteridge he also added: ‘If we compare her at 18 with now, at 43, the main changes I can see immediately are her nose: it is much sharper and more upturned.
‘Her lips are more proportionate both in relation to the upper and lower lip, so we can attribute this to the filler and also to the dental work with veneers.
‘Most notable is an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess eyelid skin and I believe an endoscopic facelift.’
An upper blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift, is an invasive procedure in which surgeons Make an incision along the natural crease of the eyelid to remove excess skin, giving a smoother, wrinkle-free appearance.

Betteridge also added: “If you compare her 18-year-old self to her current 43-year-old self, the main changes I can see straight away are her nose – it’s much sharper and more upturned. She has more proportionate lips, both in relation to her upper and lower lip, so we can put that down to filler and also dental work, with veneers.”
An endoscopic facelift involves making incisions within the hairline and inserting a flexible tube with an attached camera to reposition facial tissues and muscles.
“One of the telltale signs of this procedure is the lifting of the eyebrows and the shape of the eye, which gives a much more defined look,” said Dr. Betteridge.

Earlier this month, the Diirty singer said: Glamor that Internet speculation about her weight was “none of her business.”

Semaglutide (sold as Ozempic and Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro) have been hailed as a monumental advance in the treatment of obesity.
The pills, taken once a day, trick the brain into thinking the body is full, curbing appetite.
Trials show that semaglutide, made by Danish company Novo Nordisk, helps users lose up to 33 pounds (15.3 kg) on average in about a year.

Meanwhile, studies on Mounjaro, conducted by US pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, suggest the drug could help obese people lose up to 22.5 per cent of their body weight in 72 weeks.
Semaglutide has been available on the NHS in the UK since 2019, and in the US since 2017, for type 2 diabetics. control blood sugar levels.
Another drug, semaglutide, was also approved in Britain for weight loss in 2022, and in the United States in 2021, under the brand name Wegovy.
But, like any medication, injections can cause side effects that vary in both frequency and severity.

The latest figures from the National Health Service (NHS) show that 26% of adults in England are obese and a further 38% are overweight but not obese. In the United States, an estimated 41.9% of the adult population is obese.
Although hormone-mimicking injections are designed to help overweight patients become healthier, there has also been growing concern about the number of normal-weight and underweight patients taking them for cosmetic reasons.
Some have even needed emergency room care after receiving vaccines in an attempt to get a “beach-ready” body.
