Pop’s new “it” girl is facing mounting plastic surgery rumors after sporting what some are calling an enhanced look in her new music video.
Sabrina Carpenter, 25, rose to fame with her “song of the summer,” Espresso.
But now plastic surgeons say they can see subtle changes between her current appearance and when she first came into the public eye in 2014.
After tracing her face through the years, plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov believes she may have started performing work in 2019, when she was just 20 years old.
The plastic surgeon, who stresses that he has never seen Carpenter as a patient, estimates that she has spent more than $40,000 on various cosmetic procedures to enhance her beauty.

Ms. Carpenter has been in the spotlight since 2014, when she was just 14, after appearing on the Disney series Girl Meets World.
But as she has grown in popularity, so have rumors of procedures she has allegedly undergone to change her appearance.
Carpenter herself has yet to comment on speculation about her alleged surgeries and her representatives did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
Dr Linkov, who is based in New York City, reviewed photos of the star from 2013 to 2024 before delivering his assessment in a YouTube video. video.
She suggested the star is a fan of lip fillers and has probably been getting small injections for years, with the aim of achieving a naturally raised upper lip, which is rare.
Fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the skin to give it a fuller appearance and break down over time.
Dr Linkov said in the clip: ‘In 2019, at the age of 20, Sabrina appears to be using makeup to highlight certain aspects of her face.
‘But I also see here some signs of the possible introduction of lip filler, both on the upper and lower lip, to add some hydration and volume.
‘And in 2024, at the age of 25, when I look at Sabrina’s lips, to me the upper lip looks more arched, and that’s probably due to the continued use of filler.
‘This was probably done with small amounts of tasteful filler over the years to create this look.
“It’s not something you just do with one or two syringes of filler at a time and that’s it. It’s something you do gradually, with a very calculated approach.”

Dr. Linkov estimated she had spent $10,000 on lip fillers over the course of five years, based on the industry average and the dosage required.
In 2021, at the age of 22, Dr. Linkov suggested that the singer may have started using cheek fillers, as he observed more volume towards the outside of her cheeks compared to photos from 2017, where the apples of her cheeks appear to have more volume.
London-based cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr Jonny Betteridge agreed.
Speaking in a TikTok video, she said: ‘She now has a more heart-shaped appearance to her face, often achieved through the use of dermal fillers in the cheekbones and chin.’
Despite its popularity, surgeons have previously suggested that using filler at a young age carries multiple risks, including having skin stretched and sagging earlier than normal.
Patients who use fillers at a younger age may end up needing other procedures, such as a facelift, sooner than others.
In addition to the possible procedures, Dr Linkov also suggested the star may have undergone subtle work to shave the tip of her nose and give it a slimmer appearance.
Comparing photos of her from 2015 and 2023, she noted that the bridge (the upper, bony part of the nose) appeared to be the same size.
But the tip of the nose, he said, appeared to be much narrower.
“In 2023, at the age of 24, I’m seeing some signs of a possible tip rhinoplasty (nose job),” he said.
‘Many celebrities actually leave some convexity on their nose bridge and instead just refine the tip.
“It’s harder to detect than when the entire nose is redone. These results are less obvious.”
In a tip rhinoplasty, surgeons reshape the tip of the nose, often removing some cartilage and soft tissue.
But it does carry the risk of complications, including possible tip asymmetry or removing too much tissue, which would make it look too pinched.
Dr. Linkov estimated that the rhinoplasty had cost him about $20,000.
While it is a popular procedure among the rich and famous and ordinary people in the United States, Dr. Linkov did not suggest that Carpenter had received Botox.
In an online post, one viewer wrote on X: “I have no doubt Sabrina Carpenter has had some form of cosmetic surgery because I don’t know if it’s because of my face blindness but my brain can’t rationalize that this is the same person (as in 2016).”
A second added on YouTube: “It’s crazy how we live in a world where young people who are already considered naturally attractive feel the need to get plastic surgery and artificial enhancements.”
And a third said: “Whoever did the surgery is an expert, because I thought it was makeup the whole time.”
However, others have come to the star’s defence, saying the changes to her face are just due to ageing and makeup.
