Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is convinced he has what it takes to solve America’s problems after stepping into the ring to take over as vice president.

During an appearance on NewsNation’s Dan Abrams Live, Hogan, 70, discussed the upcoming presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden as the pair prepare to face off in a live television debate on Thursday.

He has supported presidents in the past, publicly endorsing Barack Obama in 2008 and then Mitt Romney four years later.

And while it remains to be seen who wins in the battle between Trump and Biden, the former WWE superstar insists he should be the man working alongside them as vice president.

When asked if he might take a position in the White House, Hogan said, “Hey, you never know.” Right now, he would be a great vice president, brother, because I have common sense. I know how to distinguish good from evil.

Hogan was discussing the upcoming election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

‘I just think a flat tax would be fair game for everyone here. And if I were vice president and suddenly reached that first position, four years later, you would get 12 good years off me. And then all of a sudden we would really be on the right path.”

Hogan has crossed paths with Trump on several occasions, with the controversial American tycoon having attended several WWE shows in the past as an avid wrestling fan, while he also took part in WrestleMania 23 in 2007.

So who are you backing in this year’s election?

“You know, at the end of the day, I just want someone to fix gas prices,” Hogan said. ‘Food prices, the security of our nation. I want peace in the Middle East.

‘I just want someone with common sense who knows how to distinguish between right and wrong, brother. “That’s why I wanted to be (vice) president.”

In Thursday night’s live debate between the two candidates, Hogan added: “Well, you know, Joe is a little laid back. Sometimes he has Joe moments where he gets distracted and you can basically describe America in one word, you know, and then he doesn’t really say the word.

‘But I have seen him when he addressed Congress and things like that, the Union speech where he was punctual. So, it’s going to be interesting, you know, I know it took him a whole week to prepare. And Donald Trump is out there visiting all the breakfast places and tipping everyone, so I don’t know.

“I really hope Joe is on his game, I hope he’s leaning forward, not rocking on his heels.” I hope Trump is doing the same. I just want him to win the best man.”

Abrams then pointed out to Hogan that he appears to be leaning toward Trump’s side of the ballot.

“Well, you know what? I’m for the guy who’s going to right this country, whoever that person is,” he insisted.

“I mean, whether it’s Rock or Jesse Ventura, or it could be anyone at this point, but I’m looking for the one who tells the truth to come and fix this country.”
