The Paris 2024 Olympics are quickly approaching, but before we get to 16 days of competition in gymnastics, diving, swimming, track and field and more, it’s time to see who will make the cut for Team USA at the trials by Olympic teams in 2024. The next step: the Olympic gymnastics trials. Starting today, gymnasts, including the last three women’s Olympic champions Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee, and three-time US all-around champion Brody Malone, 2023 world bronze medalist Frederick Richard , and Team USA 2023 World champion Asher Hong will gather at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to compete for a spot on Team USA. There are only five spots on the men’s and women’s teams , so the competition is sure to be fierce.

The 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials begin this Thursday, June 27 with Day 1 for the men. Coverage will begin at 6 pm ET.

The last three Olympic all-around champions, Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee, will compete for a spot on the US team for Paris 2024.

In the men’s field, three-time U.S. overall champion Brody Malone, 2023 world bronze medalist Frederick Richard and 2023 U.S. champion Asher Hong will compete this weekend.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will officially begin with the opening ceremony on 26 July. However, some disciplines will start their competitions earlier, such as handball, rugby and football, whose competitions will start from 24 July.

Like the Olympic team trials, NBCUniversal will be the home of the 2024 Olympics, with most of the action airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Some events will air on USA Network, Golf Channel, CNBC and E!.
