The Paris Olympics kick off on July 26 with the opening ceremony and Australia’s medal hopes are high, with stars including swimming great Ariarne Titmus and canoeing champion Jess Fox aiming for gold at the Games.

Stan Sport will broadcast all events of the Paris Olympic Games live, commercial-free, on demand and, for the first time in Australia, on 4KUHD.

Guiding viewers through the events with their expert commentary will be a stellar line-up of Olympian greats, including tennis star Ash Barty, swimmers Grant Hackett and Steph Rice.

Track and field champion John Steffensen will also be on hand to offer his expertise.

In the meantime, fans will have the chance to catch up on results and preview upcoming events with two new programmes launched by Stan Sports especially for the Paris Games.

Hosted by Tara Rushton, Olympics Daily provides a round-up of the evening’s events, while Paris Review, presented by Adam Peacock, previews the day’s key competitions.

Elsewhere, Chris Stubbs and Michael Atkinson will give viewers a taste of Paris with reports on the atmosphere and lifestyle of the sophisticated city.

Other highlights of Stan’s coverage include access to eight international channels.

Stan will also present all the Paris action in 5.1 surround sound.

In team sports, stellar performances are expected from the Australian Boomers and Opals in basketball, as well as the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos in field hockey.

Among the expected highlights are Ariarne Titmus and Mollie O’Callaghan in the women’s 200m freestyle final at 5:48am on Tuesday 30 July.

And Jessica Fox in the women’s kayak slalom individual final at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, July 29.
