A first-time airline passenger accidentally opened an emergency door and deployed the evacuation slide while trying to find the bathroom in China.
The woman was on board an Air China flight from the eastern city of Quzhou in Zhejiang province to Chengdu on July 4.
The plane was waiting on the runway when the first-timer headed to the back of the plane to use the bathroom.
But when she opened a door she mistook for the bathroom door, the evacuation slide unfolded in front of her.
Once the slide was deployed, the crew removed the woman and the other passengers from the plane and the flight was subsequently cancelled.

One passenger told local media that the woman opened the door without anyone noticing: “When the evacuation ramp came out, even the flight attendants were startled.
‘The passenger cried when she heard she would have to pay damages.’
The woman could end up having to pay up to £22,000 for activating the emergency door as the plane will be grounded for maintenance for several days.
In addition, you could face large fines and even administrative detention, as opening an airplane’s emergency doors is illegal in China.
After disembarking from the plane, the woman was questioned by police.
