The FBI is planning to interview Donald Trump after his assassination attempt to obtain a statement from the victim, according to reports.

The office is still investigating the shooting at the Butler, Pennsylvania, protest on July 13 and gathering evidence. CNN reported

Director Christopher Wray set off a firestorm Wednesday when he told Congress that they were still looking into whether Trump’s ear was hit by a bullet or a piece of shrapnel.

In an angry post on Truth Social, Trump criticized Wray’s suggestion and took aim at his judgment on other current issues, including Biden’s mental state.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI didn’t even check!),” he fumed.

‘But I was sure that corrupt Joe Biden had nothing to envy in his physique and cognitive ability. I’m wrong! That’s why he doesn’t know anything about the terrorists and other criminals who are coming to our country in record numbers.

‘Their only goal is to destroy the J6 Patriots, storm Mar-a-Lago, and save the radical left lunatics, like the ones now in DC burning American flags and spray painting over our great national monuments, without any retribution.

-No, unfortunately it was a bullet that hit me in the ear and hit me very hard. There was no glass or shrapnel.

Interviewing the victim is standard procedure during an FBI investigation.
