Eva Amurri is not far behind when it comes to defending her choice to walk down the aisle in an extremely low-cut wedding dress.
Susan Sarandon’s daughter, 39, returned to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to further fuel critics who were “shocked” by her ample cleavage.
According PEOPLEShe again responded to the online backlash by turning an iconic 1957 photo of Sophia Loren leering at a busty Jayne Mansfield into a now-deleted meme.
In it, Amurri hilariously reminded detractors that her “32F boobs” were just “doing their thing” on her wedding day.
She continued the fun in two subsequent IG Story posts as she joked that she had her boobs out at her rehearsal dinner, too.

She also let her followers know that her now-husband, chef Ian Hock, was a big fan of all of her big-boobed wedding dresses.
“And if you’re wondering what my handsome, water-drinking husband thought of my wedding dresses… he loved them.”
Amurri first responded to her detractors on Monday via Instagram after sharing images from her Saturday wedding, which she described as “the most special day filled with so much love.”
However, at the same time, the mother of three slammed critics of her bustier-style Kim Kassas wedding dress, taking aim at those who said her breasts should have been “saved.”
Sharing a photo of herself and Hock, she wrote: “And for anyone who is shocked that my boobs aren’t ‘saved’…” before adding a close-up of her cleavage with the caption: “feel free to screenshot for later” alongside a kissy emoji.
Amurri purchased the corseted design at Bridal Reflections in New York City and told People of her gown, “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance.”
“I love its vintage feel and its ultra-feminine character without being overly ornate,” she added.
She paired the dress with a long veil for added glamour.
After the ceremony, she wore a second look of the evening: a minidress, also designed by Kim Kassas, with feather and lace trim.
“I paired it with custom Nike Air Force Ones embellished with pearls and our wedding date. It looked like Priscilla Presley meets street style!” she told the publication.
Susan Sarandon’s daughter, 39, returned to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to further slam critics who were “shocked” by her ample cleavage.
According to PEOPLE, she responded to the online backlash by again turning an iconic 1957 photo of Sophia Loren leering at a busty Jayne Mansfield into a now-deleted meme; Loren and Mansfield were seen in a similar image.
She continued the fun in two subsequent IG Story posts as she joked that she had her boobs out at her rehearsal dinner, too.
She also let her followers know that her now-husband, chef Ian Hock, was a big fan of all of her big-boobed wedding dresses.
The backlash the newlywed has faced as a result of her low-cut wedding dress closely mirrors the criticism her own mother received in 2016, when Susan was criticised for showing her cleavage while presenting the memorial tribute at the SAG Awards.
At the time, the actress caused quite a stir on social media after taking to the stage at the prestigious event wearing a low-cut white blazer that revealed a busty bra underneath.
Many called Susan’s outfit “inappropriate” given the somber nature of the in memoriam segment, including Piers Morgan, whose criticism prompted the actress to respond by sharing an image of herself wearing nothing but a bra while starring in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
And it seems her daughter has inherited that same biting sense of humor, judging by her response on Instagram.
Before addressing her critics, Amurri (who Susan shares with Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri) shared a candid video from her wedding in which she put on a stunning display while modelling her controversial dress.
She said “I do” to her chef boyfriend of three years at Windrift Hall in New York’s Hudson Valley.
In the video, Eva is seen walking down the aisle alongside her eldest son, seven-year-old Major, while wearing a stunning white gown with a full veil and train.
She joined her loved ones under a wooden gazebo as the ceremony began.
Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri, 39, responded to critics who were “scandalized” by her wedding dress in a new Instagram post on Monday.
She jokingly shared a zoomed-in photo of her cleavage and urged any critics to “screenshot this for later,” before adding a kissy emoji.
She walked hand in hand with her son in front of a bonfire before the outdoor ceremony.
“We really wanted to center our little family unit through this whole thing, and have it be as much about the kids as it was about us,” she previously told People.
Speaking about their special day, she explained that she and her partner “worked with our officiant to create a ceremony that felt super personal and intimate, and then focused on our second love in life: food!
“All we really needed was a nice atmosphere, our loved ones and a delicious party,” she told the outlet.
The happy couple opted to celebrate an intimate wedding with about 40 guests, which was attended by her mother, the famous Susan, and her ex Tim Robbins.
The French garden party-themed ceremony featured “lots of natural colors that mimicked the estate’s surroundings, with little touches of whimsy with the chamomile flowers and pops of pale green and pale blue.”
“We wanted to write our own love letters to each other to read as vows, which was very special to us,” she explained.
‘We also didn’t have any bridal party apart from the kids, and it was perfect.
“Major (Eva’s son) walked me down the aisle, it was an experience I’ll never forget,” she concluded.
In 2016, Eva’s mother Susan faced a very similar backlash for showing off her cleavage in a low-cut blazer and bra while hosting the in memoriam segment at the SAG Awards.
At the time, critics called Susan’s outfit “inappropriate” given the somber nature of the segment she was hosting.
Amurri looked stunning in a candid video she shared from her nuptials over the weekend.
The happy couple got engaged at the end of February last year.
The mother of three opened up about her relationship with the chef in January 2021 on her blog Happily Eva.
In a post called A Little Update on My Love Life, she wrote: “I’m beyond happy to share with you that I have a wonderful boyfriend in my life. His name is Ian, he’s super caring, creative, handsome and funny, and we have so much in common.”
“Ian is a chef (GREAT!) and we met when I went to dinner at his restaurant with a friend. My friend went to high school with him in New York City (yes, he’s a New Yorker!) and he came out of the kitchen to say hi to her,” she continued. “We ended up chatting and had an immediate connection and spark.”
“I followed him on Instagram and he followed me back. We started chatting and for a month we got to know each other really well exchanging messages and laughing together over text,” she added.
‘We discovered how much we had in common (both foodies, we love going to museums, we’re both bookworms, we both speak French… and we slowly created a really special friendship. All before we even went on a date!
