A Delta airline passenger was criticized for his “strange” behavior after leaving a mess on the floor and trying to “steal” someone else’s AirPods.
A frequent flyer took to Reddit to reveal that the anonymous man sitting next to him was a nightmare seatmate and detailed all the strange practices he saw the passenger do.
In a thread titled, Deltathe passenger revealed that he was flying from Detroit to Phoenix while sitting in First Class.
Although he was prepared to enjoy a luxurious flight experience, the Reddit user admitted that he “couldn’t wait for the flight to end” so he could get away from the passenger sitting next to him.
He criticized the frequent flyer, calling him a “hot mess” while detailing the various behaviors that left him speechless.

A frequent flyer took to Reddit to reveal that the anonymous man sitting next to him was a nightmare seatmate and detailed all the strange practices he saw the passenger do.
The post was titled: ‘The worst first class passenger’.
The social media user revealed that his neighbor’s eating practice caught attention.
‘Flying first class from Detroit to Phoenix, and the guy sitting next to me was a disaster. (I) realized halfway through the flight that he had spilled all of his snacks and not only did he not clean them up, he crushed them on the carpet with his sneakers.
“(He also) left like three newspapers stuffed into the chair in front of him.”
In addition to leaving his snacks all over the floor, the frequent flyer even tried to steal an expensive item, according to the other passenger.
‘Here’s the real kicker: halfway through the flight I realized that my AirPods, which were in the armrest, were missing.
“I was in the bathroom and I thought he took them off when he got up. I hit the alarm and didn’t hear anything and thought maybe he needed to be on the floor for it to work.
‘When she returned to the chair, I hit her again and the alarm came from her coat. He seemed surprised and I said, “I think that’s coming from your coat.” He said he thought they were his and showed me his AirPods that he was carrying in his other pocket. Theirs were about three generations ago, but I let it go,’ said the social network user.

At the end of the post, the passenger claimed he was on the edge of his seat waiting for the plane to land so he wouldn’t have to be any closer to his disastrous neighbor.
He wrote: “(I was) the strangest seatmate ever and I couldn’t wait for that flight to be over.”
The social media user also shared a photo of the man’s snacks all over the floor of the plane.
