There is just one game left of Euro 2024 and Sofascore has revealed its team of the tournament so far in terms of average match rating.
It has been a tournament in which the biggest names have failed to perform at their best, while new stars have announced themselves on the world stage.
Although England face Spain in Sunday’s final, hoping to end their wait for a major trophy, no member of Gareth Southgate’s squad features in the starting XI.
The Three Lions have not played the best football on their way to the final in Berlin and that is reflected in Sofascore’s starting XI.
So who are the chosen ones? Mail Sport analyses Sofascore’s team, who line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

No England players have been included in the squad, which is based on average rating per game.
Goalkeeper: Giorgi Mamardashvili
Curiously, the highest-rated player in the XI comes from an unlikely source.
Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili had an average rating of 8.15 in Georgia’s four games.
The relatively small teams conceded just two goals in three games, and even kept a clean sheet against Portugal.
Their run was also interrupted by Spain, who won their round of 16 clash 4-1.

Defenders: Joshua Kimmich, Antonio Rudiger, Jaka Bijol, Marc Cucurella
Chelsea full-back Marc Cucurella (7.60m) has been instrumental in Spain’s run to the final, impressing after a less-than-perfect campaign at Stamford Bridge under Mauricio Pochettino, where the Blues finished sixth in the league.
Cucurella joins two stars who knocked him out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage, Germany’s Joshua Kimmich (7.74) and Antonio Rudiger (7.30), who enjoyed strong starts to Euro 2024 before their country’s exit.
Another surprise name on the list is Slovenian centre-back Jaka Bijol (7.45), who put in a superb display to frustrate England and earn a 0-0 draw in Group C before doing the same to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in their last-16 defeat on penalties.

Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Bernardo Silva, Fabian Ruiz, Dani Olmo, Kevin De Bruyne
Fabián Ruiz has drawn attention throughout the competition and is one of only two men in the XI with an average rating higher than eight out of ten (8.02).
The PSG player has so far contributed two goals and two assists and is accompanied by his teammate Dani Olmo (7.94).
Olmo has been another of Spain’s great players with two goals and three assists, although he only started in one of his first four games.
Toni Kroos (7.76) impressed in his final tournament in football, having promised to retire from football with both Germany and Real Madrid this summer.
Completing the midfield are Manchester City pair Kevin De Bruyne (7.78) and Bernardo Silva (7.68), who showed their class once again for Belgium and Portugal respectively.
Both scored in Germany, but left disappointed as Portugal were eliminated in the quarter-finals and Belgium in the round of 16.

Even less surprising is that one of the tournament’s top scorers tops the list.
Cody Gakpo (7.73) scored three goals during Holland’s run to the quarter-finals and will share the Golden Boot if neither Olmo nor Harry Kane score in the final, with six players currently tied on the same amount.
The Dutchman will be hoping to demonstrate his excellent form in front of goal at Anfield ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign, with new Liverpool manager Arne Slot yet to decide on his preferred starting XI.
