Courteney Cox has attempted to contact her late co-star Matthew Perry “multiple times” since his death last year.
The Friends actress, 60, has gathered loved ones for Ouija board evenings because she reportedly believes there are “unanswered questions” about her life and death.
Perry died, aged 54, in October 2023 after he was found unconscious in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home.
“Courteney has gathered a group of friends together several times and organized Ouija board evenings to get in touch with Matthew,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.
“She believes there are still many unanswered questions about his life and death, and she wants to get to the bottom of it.”
Courteney Cox has attempted to contact her late co-star Matthew Perry “multiple times” since his death last year, sources told DailyMail.com.
Perry’s death was determined to be caused by the “acute effects” of ketamine, which is used as an anesthetic and treatment for depression, anxiety and pain.
In August, five people who allegedly supplied the drugs to Perry were arrested.
Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, alleged drug dealers Jasveen ‘Ketamine Queen’ Sangha, 41, and Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, of 59, have been charged.
The source said Cox’s attempts to make contact failed, but she is determined to move forward.
“So far the Scream star has not been able to contact Matthew, he plans to continue with the sessions until he does,” they added.
Cox is no stranger to the supernatural having previously participated in a seance with songwriting legend Carole King.
The actress once moved into a house in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles, formerly owned by King and Gypsy Rose Lee, which she believed was haunted.
“Then Carole King came to my house and said there had been a divorce that was really ugly and there was a ghost in the house,” Cox told Jimmy Kimmel in March 2022.
“Courteney has gotten a group of friends together several times and organized Ouija board evenings to get in touch with Matthew,” said a source (pictured together in 2002).

She said she moved out the day after a UPS driver claimed he knew the house was haunted because he could see a figure standing behind it when she opened the door for him.
The Scream actress was among Perry’s co-stars who marked the one-year anniversary of her death on Monday.
Cox shared a photo of her and the late actor on Instagram and wrote, “Missing you today and always.”
Jennifer Aniston, 55, also posted a series of never-before-seen photos alongside the name of her foundation and the words: “1 year.”
Matt LeBlanc, 57, was photographed looking disheveled hours after the anniversary, in one of the few public appearances he has made since Perry’s death.
The images sparked concerns that he may be “falling apart.”
DailyMail.com reported that the former Joey star quietly retired following Perry’s death, reaffirming how ready he is to re-evaluate his life.

“Matt is still upset about losing Matthew,” a source said. ‘Such an important part of his life and a good friend is gone.
“It has made him rethink his life. “He wants to focus on other interests because that’s what matters to him right now.”
LeBlanc has not appeared in any film or television projects since the Friends HBO reunion special in 2021, and previously said he was “taking some time off.”
His last acting performance was as Adam Burns in the CBS series, Man with a Plan, between 2016 and 2020.
