Year 6 girl brutally attacked by another student, filmed on cellphone

A sixth-grade girl was brutally attacked by another student at a California middle school, with the horrific assault filmed on her cellphone.

The attack, which reportedly began during an argument over a boy, happened shortly before 3 p.m. last Thursday in Riverside County at Arizona Middle School.

During the attack, the victim was ambushed by a classmate who pulled his hair and then violently punched his face. The beating appeared to continue for nearly two minutes before anyone intervened.

Fellow students from school stood by and watched or took out their phones to film what was happening in front of them as the girl was beaten.

The distressing videos obtained by KTLA sees the moments just before the attack begins, with the attacker apparently incited by a friend.

“I’m scared, my heart is beating,” the girl can be heard saying in the video.

“Fight her. She’s not going to do shit,’ an antagonist can be heard saying.

“Should I just start pulling his hair?” » asks the girl.

The victim’s mother, known as Jazmin, revealed that the confrontation arose from an argument over a boy and suddenly escalated into physical violence, leaving her daughter bruised and traumatized.

Despite the seriousness of the incident, no member of the school staff intervened during the attack, which only increased the distress felt by the victim.

“No one came to help my daughter; no student came to stop this. So, she stayed alone,” Jazmin told the station.

“I couldn’t even watch the full video. It was really hard. I just thank God that my daughter is alive.

By the time Jazmin arrived at school to speak with her daughter, visibly shaken and in tears, she discovered she was suffering from a swollen face and that some of her hair had been pulled out.

“At that moment, I just held her and hugged her. I have seen several things on social media, where children are brutally attacked and killed,” Jazmin said.

The girl was taken to the hospital where a police report was filed.

When her mother demanded answers from school officials regarding her daughter’s safety, she received only vague assurances.

“They just tell me that you can bring your daughter back tomorrow and I can assure you that everything will be fine with your daughter,” Jazmin said.

School officials say they have taken disciplinary action against the attacker, who could face criminal charges pending the outcome of the investigation, but Jazmin remains unhappy with the school’s response.

“I want to see justice. I want justice for my daughter because I feel like it’s another fight and they’re sweeping everything under the rug,” she said.

She has now pulled her daughter out of Arizona Middle School.

The attacker is also no longer enrolled in school after being expelled due to her outburst of violence.

This comes just days after the family of Missouri schoolgirl Kaylee Gain spoke out after she was left in a life-threatening condition by a bully who repeatedly smashed her head against the concrete.

The 16-year-old girl suffered a skull fracture and frontal lobe damage during a violent fight filmed near her Saint-Louis high school on March 8.

In a devastating statement released by their lawyer, Kaylee’s loved ones said they would not know the extent of her injuries until she woke up.

The family added they want “justice through the legal system” – but pleaded with other teens not to retaliate against the girl who attacked Kaylee.

They confirmed that Kaylee suffered “a fractured skull which led to bleeding and swelling of the brain” and that she still had not regained consciousness 10 days later.
