Bruce Lehrmann sentencing: Channel 10 lawyer's epic takedown after judge finds Lehrmann raped Brittany Higgins

Channel 10 attorney Justin Quill unleashed brutal advice on Bruce Lehrmann after a judge found the former political staffer raped Brittany Higgins.

Lehrmann sued Network Ten and Wilkinson for defamation over a February 2021 report on The Project in which Higgins claimed she was raped by colleague Lehrmann in a Parliament office in 2019.

Judge Michael Lee ruled Tuesday that Lerhmann had raped Higgins, saying he was “bent” on having sex with his former colleague.

He ruled in favor of Ten when he delivered his verdict on Monday.

Later, outside court, Quill described the ruling as a resounding victory for Channel 10 and a regrettable failure for Lehrmann.

“My advice to Mr. Lehrmann, given that he is studying law, would be to perhaps look for another career to study at university,” he said.

Quill claimed that Lehrmann took Channel 10 to court for two reasons: to make money and to reinvent the story.

“He wanted people to believe his version of events and he failed in both attempts,” he added.
