Brad Pitt has “virtually no contact” with his older children, according to a new report.
Just a month after the 60-year-old actor’s daughter, Shiloh, 18, requested to stop using her last name, a source revealed to People that Pitt’s relationship with his older children remains strained.
“She has virtually no contact with her adult children. Her involvement with the younger ones has been more limited in recent months due to her filming schedule,” the source shared.
Pitt has a total of six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 49. They share three biological children: Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15. They also have three adopted children, sons Maddox, 22, and Pax, 20, as well as daughter Zahara, 19.
The source said the couple’s custody agreement allows visitation rights to the two minor children.

The actor is in Europe filming his new F1 racing movie, while Jolie lives in Los Angeles with her younger children.
In June, it was reported that Pitt is “upset and aware” that his daughter Shiloh requested to remove her last name from his on her 18th birthday.
A source close to the Oscar winner said his removal from his daughter’s life is just another indication that he has “lost his children,” according to People.
“He is aware and upset that Shiloh stopped using his last name,” the source said. “He has never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter.”
It is worth noting that Pitt was already in the process of legally adopting a daughter who had been a part of his life for months before he and his then-partner, Angelina, announced she was pregnant with Shiloh in January 2006.
Jolie had traveled to Ethiopia to adopt her first child, Zahara, in July 2005, and Pitt had accompanied her on the trip.

He was reported to be in the process of becoming Zahara’s adoptive father in December 2005, a month before he and Jolie announced her pregnancy.
“Of course, it’s not easy for Brad to remember that he’s lost his children,” the source continued. “He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”
They added that the distance between Pitt and his six children “hurts” him.
However, they pointed out that “he is still happy with Inés (de Ramón)”, his current girlfriend.
Another source described as close to Pitt told the publication that the Tree Of Life star “still loves all of his children immensely.”
“This whole process has been very hard for the whole family,” they added.
If Shiloh’s request is granted (and there is no indication that it will not be), she will henceforth be referred to simply as “Shiloh Jolie,” rather than her original full name, “Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.”

It’s unclear whether Vivienne has legally changed her name, but the minor would likely need parental consent or extenuating circumstances to do so before turning 18.
Zahara previously introduced herself as ‘Zahara Marley Jolie’ when she joined the Mu Pi chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College late last year.
