BCN Events Group collapses and 90 employees lose their jobs

A hospitality company that ran a series of popular bakeries in Brisbane has collapsed and 90 employees have reportedly been made redundant.

BCN Events Group entered into voluntary liquidation this Tuesday.

The company is owned by award-winning chef Shannon Kellam and had seven locations that closed.

Businesses affected include Lumiere Culinary Studio in Newstead, Mica Brasserie in Newstead and the popular King Street Bakery in Bowen Hills.
