Andrew Tate has been sued by four British women who accuse him of crimes including rape, physical assault and contracting sexually transmitted infections.

Lawyers for the women formally filed the civil lawsuit today at the social media influencer’s home in Bucharest, Romania.

The High Court in London granted all the group anonymity due to the risk they could be identified online and subjected to abuse.

It comes after Tate received a letter ahead of the action last year from lawyers at McCue, Jury and Partners (MJP).

The letter delivered to Tate this afternoon affirms assault allegations previously made by the women and seeks “damages for the injuries they suffered as a result.”

The installment details the abuse allegedly inflicted by Tate on the four women, two of whom were said to have been employed as “camera girls” by Tate.

Three of the women alleged they were raped by Tate, and one said he raped her up to five times, according to reports.

The allegations also included that he strangled two of the women until the blood vessels in their eyes burst and threatened one with a firearm.

One said he blackmailed her with nude images, while several said he infected them with STDs during rapes, according to reports in The Sun and elsewhere.

Jack Beeston of McCue Jury & Partners said today’s action is “just beginning the lawsuit” and is “the first legal step in connection with the court” that will give the women anonymity.

“We thank the court for recognizing the risk posed to the plaintiffs by granting the anonymity order,” attorney Matthew Jury said in a statement.

Tate has strenuously denied the allegations and is reportedly threatening to sue the women for defamation.

A spokesman for Andrew Tate said: “The allegations made by these four women are demonstrably false and vehemently denied.

“Andrew’s legal team will vigorously defend him against these malicious allegations.”

Three of the British accusers were the subject of an investigation by Hertfordshire Police. The Hertfordshire investigation was closed in 2019.

In a statement, the law firm said: “Three of the women who brought the civil action reported to UK police that Tate had raped and physically assaulted them in 2014/2015.”

‘After a four-year investigation, Hertfordshire Police referred the case to the CPS for a decision on charges. In 2019, the CPS decided not to prosecute.

“Despite additional evidence, the CPS has rejected the women’s recent requests to review its decision.”

A Romanian court ruled last month that a trial can begin in the influencer’s separate human trafficking case, which also accuses him of rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.

Tate, 37, is charged along with his brother Tristan Tate. The men were initially arrested in December 2022 near Bucharest.

They will be extradited to the UK following trial in Romania, after Bedfordshire Police obtained a European arrest warrant over separate allegations of rape and human trafficking.

These accusations, which the two brothers deny, date back to the period 2012-2015.

In a statement in March, Bedfordshire Police said: “As part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of rape and human trafficking, Bedfordshire Police have obtained a European arrest warrant for two men aged in their 30s.”

“We are working with authorities in Romania as part of this investigation and will provide an update in due course.”

A representative for the Tate brothers said they “unequivocally deny all allegations” and are “fully committed to challenging these allegations with unwavering determination and resolve.”
