An Arizona woman has died after being thrown from her vehicle when it rolled 1,000 feet off a cliff just days after celebrating her birthday.
Kristin “Kris” Little, 39, died last Friday after her vehicle became airborne along Thumb Butte Road near Prescott and plunged down the steep terrain.
She was thrown from the vehicle approximately halfway down the mountainside.
Her mother, Jinger Cutting, is planning a funeral for her beloved daughter. The grieving mother said AZ Family that Kris had been watching the sunset in the area before the tragedy occurred.
‘“It kills me to think that I’m going to bury my son first,” Jinger Cutting told the outlet. “That shouldn’t be the case.”

Officials said her car plunged 1,000 feet (300 meters) down the steep terrain and she was thrown from the vehicle about halfway down the mountainside.
He added: “I wish God had taken me first. God needed Krissy. She’s an absolute angel.”
‘She was an angel on this earth for 39 years and now she will be an angel in heaven.’
Little had worked as a real estate agent in Prescott and loved spending time outdoors, camping and hiking with his dog, according to his mother.
Cutting said her daughter watched the sunset from the same overlook at Thumb Butte almost every day.
That’s what he was doing last Friday when he ran into friends from high school.
After everyone left, Cutting said her daughter went down the side of Thumb Butte, which is a difficult trail, but her daughter had made the trip before.
Cutting recently went on a trip with Kristin and her other daughter, Jessica, to celebrate her birthday.
Due to the terrain and darkness, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies had to wait all night to recover his body, never leaving his side.
Cutting also said her daughter’s dog, CJ, was with her and survived the crash.

She said: ‘Knowing that CJ will be here with us for the rest of his life gives me great comfort.
“Those rescuers stayed with my daughter all night and that meant a lot to me.”
He added: “He loved life to the fullest. He did everything with all his heart.
“She was a wonderful girl. She was everything to me. She was the light of my life. She was full of positive energy all the time.”
She described the outpouring of support and sympathy from the local community as “overwhelmingly beautiful.”
She said, “Hug your children, please, every day. Hug those babies because you don’t know when you’ll see them again.”
