A man was amazed after spotting ten water dragons hiding in the leaf litter during his morning walk.

The walker, at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, took a photograph of the well-disguised native lizards and posted it on Reddit, challenging others to find them.

Water dragons are the largest species of dragon lizard in Australia and are found along the canals of the country’s east coast. Although mostly shy, these well-hidden creatures have been known to chase small dogs and children when they feel threatened.

Most of the lizards near the top of the photo can be spotted fairly easily; However, two are much harder to spot: the sunbathing water dragon and another facing the camera.

Many Reddit users banded together to try to spot them, causing the post to go viral.

“This is like some kind of native Australian game Where’s Wally?” one man said, and the original poster agreed that this was his “exact thought” when he took the photo.

Many people struggled with the challenge.

“I only saw nine, so nein,” said one.

‘I can’t see the tenth dragon. He is the one you don’t see who gets you. He’s after me, right? she wrote a second.

Some claimed to have found 11 water dragons in the photo.

“Lower right corner in shadow, 11,” said one.

Others claimed to have gone down to Kangaroo Point to search for themselves.

“No, it was just there now and since you took the photo it has gone dark, it’s so hard to see them now,” one wrote.
