New Delhi:
Actress Chhavi Mittal loves sharing posts about her fitness journey on social media. Chhavi Mittal, a breast cancer survivor, shared a series of photos from her workout regimen on social media and wrote about loving herself ‘unabashedly and unashamedly’. She started the note with these words: “I’ve seen people run after things and when they can’t get them, they get stressed. Then they run faster and in desperation until they burn themselves out. But little or no importance is placed on self-love. Why aren’t people lagging behind in happiness, satisfaction and good health? If someone politely refuses an unhealthy snack, they will be laughed at, but the enthusiastic eater is the life of the party.”
The Ek Chutki Aasman actress added in her post, “There is little talk about someone succumbing to heart disease, but there is so much fuss about someone dying in the gym. When was the last time you did something purely for your happiness or your health? Without thinking about judgments, small setbacks at work, or your phone ringing? How many of you feel like you don’t have time? I think time is subjective to your priorities. If it’s important, you make time. I know that I will never miss my gym or gymnastics time for a party. That’s me prioritizing myself, my happiness, and my mental and physical health.” She signed the post with these words: “I’m unapologetically, unashamedly in love with myself.”
