Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to re-sign Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal, but only if Manchester United accept less than half of the £73million they shelled out for him in 2021.
The 23-year-old joined the Bundesliga side on loan until the end of the season in January, following a public row with United boss Erik ten Hag.
Sancho, who scored in Dortmund’s recent wins over PSV Eindhoven and Werder Bremen, appears happy to be playing football again for the club where he previously scored 50 goals in 137 matches between 2017 and 2021.
Sky Germany reported that Dortmund and Sancho are willing to agree a permanent deal.
However, Dortmund would only sign Sancho if United agreed a £30m deal for the winger – £43m less than what United paid in 2021.
Borussia Dortmund are ready to re-sign Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal this summer.
However, they are only willing to spend £30m, less than half of the £73m Man United paid the Bundesliga for Sancho in 2021.

Further talks are expected in the coming weeks, with Sancho ‘happy’ and ‘feeling the confidence’ from the Bundesliga side.
However, changes within United’s structure could impact whether the England international stays or leaves at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag’s future at the club is uncertain, and it is unclear how new owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS plan to deal with him.
If Ten Hag kept his job after the end of the season, it would seem likely that Sancho would leave the club.
Sancho was exiled from the first team after hitting back at the Dutchman’s claims he was left out of the squad due to poor performances in training.
Just after Ten Hag spoke to the media, Sancho hit back in a statement on social media that read: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I won’t allow people to say completely untrue things, I performed very well in training this week.
“I think there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn’t fair!”

Ten Hag’s uncertain future and the arrival of United’s new owners could impact whether Sancho stays at Old Trafford or leaves the club on a permanent deal.
Sancho has refused to apologize for his comments, which led to his loan exit during the January transfer window.
However, even before his row with Ten Hag, Sancho’s levels at Old Trafford failed to reach those he set during his first spell at Borussia Dortmund.
In 82 appearances for the Red Devils, he scored just 12 goals, but struggled to secure a regular starting spot.
