Earlier this week, the twins shared another rare photo with Bowling.
It’s one of the first times the sisters have been photographed in months after several images were shared from Abby and Joshua’s 2021 ceremony, which was made public just a few months ago.
Kept secret, photos from their now-public nuptials showed the sisters modeling a beautiful wedding dress and posing with Abby’s husband.
However, when news of the deal emerged, a flurry of criticism was launched, with several citing how the two share the same sexual organs.
They both currently teach fourth and fifth grades at a local elementary school, where they share the same salary because they teach the same classes.
The two spoke about the issue in an interview with the BBC.

“Obviously, we immediately understand that we are going to receive a salary because we are doing one person’s job,” Abby said in 2013.
“As experience may come, we would like to negotiate a little, taking into account that we have two careers and because we can give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways.”
After five years, the two would reveal how the school had hired them as full-time instructors and would continue to split their compensation in half.
Three years later, Abby married Bowling, who today lives with the twins full time. Brittany, however, remains single.
Called dicephalic paragus, the condition the women suffer from is described as a rare form of Siamese twinning, where both patients share the same torso.
In the case of Abby and Brittany, they share the same bloodstream and all organs below the waist.
Each twin also controls one arm and one leg each and retains individual movement of his or her own head.
Opting for separation surgery due to the risk of both dying, the sisters have lived as a couple ever since.

The year before they got their jobs, their mother, Patti Hensel, appeared on her TLC docuseries to describe how the two had had different dreams.
“I remember one wanted to be a pilot and another wanted to be a dentist, and that didn’t last long,” he said. “I think they will do well (working as teachers) because they have always had a knack with children and children have always been drawn to them.”
The show, Abby & Brittany, aired from August to October 2012, after she graduated from college and looked for her first job.
Six years earlier, the then-teenage twins appeared in the documentary Joined For Life after first gaining fame on a 1996 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show when they were six years old.
Since then, the two have stayed out of the spotlight for the most part, save for the occasional TikTok and Facebook post, and Abby’s marriage only came to light last March.
