Britain has been gripped by racially motivated violence since the weekend, with far-right groups wreaking havoc across the country.
The riots, considered the worst wave of extremist violence in Britain in years, broke out in Rotherham, where thugs set fire to a hotel housing asylum seekers, Hull, Birmingham, Darlington, Plymouth, Bristol, Liverpool and Belfast.
In response to the shocking scenes, which have been broadcast around the world, several countries have issued official warnings, with Canada the latest nation to warn its citizens about the state of Britain.
As of Wednesday evening, eight nations have warned their citizens to avoid certain areas and stay safe as police prepare for 100 more riots across Britain tonight.

Sweden
The Swedish Embassy in London has “strongly recommended” that Swedes avoid large crowds in the UK.
Sweden Abroad’s website states: “Since the beginning of August, riots motivated by xenophobia have occurred in several British cities. It is strongly recommended that large gatherings be avoided.”
India
The Indian High Commission in London has asked its citizens to remain “vigilant” in the face of “recent unrest.”
A statement issued on Tuesday morning said: “Indian travellers would be aware of the recent unrest in parts of the UK.
‘The High Commission of India in London is closely monitoring the situation. Visitors from India are advised to remain vigilant and take due precautions when travelling to the UK.
‘It is advisable to follow local news and warnings issued by local security agencies and avoid areas where protests are taking place.’

Australia
The Australian government has issued a warning to its Smart Traveller service, saying citizens should “exercise a high degree of caution in the UK due to the threat of terrorism.”
He added that citizens should “avoid areas where protests are occurring due to the potential for disruption and violence, monitor media outlets for information and updates, and follow the instructions of local authorities.”
Nigeria
The Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom said on Monday night that “The unrest, which has taken on a violent and disorderly character as evidenced by reported attacks on law enforcement officers and damage to property and infrastructure, may spread throughout the country.
‘To this end, the Nigerian community is advised to be especially vigilant, stay away from protest areas and avoid large gatherings.
‘The High Commission will endeavour to keep the Nigerian community in the UK informed of any developments as the situation evolves.’
Malaysia
The Malaysian High Commission has taken a stricter measure and required Malaysians to register with the diplomatic mission.
He previously warned ‘Malaysians residing in or travelling to the UK… to stay away from protest areas, remain vigilant and follow the latest updates and guidance provided by local authorities’.

Indonesia
The Indonesian embassy in London has warned its citizens in the UK to avoid large crowds and to increase their vigilance.
United Arab Emirates
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on its citizens to “exercise the utmost level of caution and take necessary precautions, in light of the volatile security situation in several UK cities.”
The Ministry also warns UAE citizens not to visit areas where unrest and protests are taking place and to avoid crowded areas.
‘UAE citizens must respect the warnings issued by the UAE Embassy in London and comply with all safety instructions.
‘The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advises UAE citizens on the importance of staying in touch with the Embassy in London in case of emergency or suspicion of any potential danger.
Canada
A new travel advisory issued by the Canadian government on Wednesday warns against travel to the United Kingdom “due to ongoing demonstrations and violent clashes between protesters and police.”
Canada is urging its citizens to “exercise a high degree of caution in the United Kingdom due to the threat of terrorism.”
Regarding demonstrations, he advises Canadians to avoid areas where protests and large gatherings are taking place, to exercise caution, to expect an increased presence of security forces in areas where demonstrations are taking place and to follow the instructions of local authorities.
