A child in a stroller and an adult died at a train station.
The pram fell onto the tracks as the adult tried to rescue the child at Carlton train station, south of Sydney, at 12pm on Sunday.
The train then began to move and the couple died at the scene.

“Emergency services are at Carlton train station following an incident on the tracks,” read a statement on X.
“The public is urged to avoid the area. The investigation is ongoing.”
Trains do not run between Wolli Creek and Hurstville on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line.
“We are arranging replacement buses but none are available at this time,” Sydney Trains said on X at 1:00 p.m.
