Zach Wilson’s model fiancée Nicolette Dellanno shared an intimate look at their engagement trip to Italy just a day before the quarterback’s college roommate proposed to his ex-girlfriend.
On Sunday, Dellanno posted stunning snaps from her romantic getaway. The carousel included the panoramic views of Capri, photos of her outfits during the trip and movies with the Denver Broncos quarterback in front of beautiful landscapes.
The highlight of the trip was when Wilson popped the big question to Dellanno on June 30 off the Amalfi Coast.
Eight days later, Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, Abbey Gile, became engaged to her college roommate and former BYU teammate, Dax Milne.
On Monday, Milne, a trustee for the Washington Commanders, posted photos of a beach proposal to Gile. The newly engaged couple also posed for a selfie as the bride-to-be showed off the massive diamond ring on her finger.

“She said yes,” Milne wrote on Instagram with a heart and ring emoji.
Prior to her romance with Milne, Gile and Wilson dated from high school until 2022.
Gile was labeled the “girlfriend” after she began dating Wilson’s roommate and childhood friend. However, she quickly gave that nickname to Wilson after revealing that he was romantically involved with one of her mother’s friends, which she cited as the reason for their breakup.
“He was sleeping with his mom’s best friend… that’s the real homie hopper,” Gile wrote in a comment at the time.
Wilson never confirmed the rumors while her mother, Lisa Wilson, was bombarded by people trying to figure out which of her friends was involved with Zach.

Her post came a day before Wilson’s ex-girlfriend got engaged to her BYU roommate.
Dax Milne, who roomed with Wilson at BYU, is engaged to Abbey Gile, Wilson’s ex-girlfriend.
Milne (No 5) and Wilson (No 1) were childhood friends and played together for the Cougars.
While many congratulated Milne and Gile, others highlighted the proximity of their engagement to that of Wilson and Dellanno.
However, Wilson and Dellanno appeared to be on cloud nine after their vacation, looking very much in love as they returned to the States and celebrated the Fourth of July with Wilson’s family in Utah.
During the outdoor celebrations, Dellano and Wilson couldn’t keep their hands off each other, as seen in Lisa’s Instagram stories.
Even after Independence Day, Dellano couldn’t help but relive “the most beautiful trip” as she posted some of her highlights.
Wilson was recently traded to the Broncos after spending his first three seasons with the New York Jets.
