Action thrillerYodhacontinues to do well at the box office. The film registered a decent collection on its second Monday. On day 11, the film, jointly directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, grossed ₹1.6 crore, according to a report by Commercial. With this, the film has now collected a total of ₹30.85 crore. Yodha Sidharth Malhotra stars as Arun Katyal, a special task officer who works to protect India from terrorists. However, he is later labeled a “traitor” and suspended. The film, which released on March 15, also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles.

Come on Yodha‘s release, Sidharth Malhotra shared a BTS clip on his Instagram profile. The video offers glimpses of the actor performing intricate action moves while discussing the effort he puts into creating these scenes. About the action scenes, he said, “There are so many action beats in this movie that are so new, it’s hard to say if I’ve done something like that.”

Sidharth Malhotra specifically highlighted the opening scene and shared, “I use weapons in a cool way and use knives in a cool way. We have shot it very interestingly to look fast, in one shot. It is stylized, sharp and changed.” elements. We’re also shooting it in real time, and in that sense we haven’t really used any camera tricks. It’s one of my favorite action pieces I’ve done in the last ten years. “

In WhatsNew2Day’s review, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote: “Lots of action in Yodha, directed by Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, unfolds in the passenger cabin of an airplane and in the spaces below. The film eventually ends up in a building in Islamabad called Jinnah Hall, where peace talks are underway between the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan. There are no prizes for guessing, there is a terrorist plot underway to collapse the negotiations, because war, the antagonist thunders, is a business.’

“Passengers on the plane claimed by the protagonist find themselves on the receiving end of a wire that encounters severe turbulence and ends up in an endless downward spiral. They can only gape and scream in horror at the brash, hammered lows it produces Yodha and his flying machine descends to. The film revels in blowing logic and common sense to shreds,” said Saibal Chatterjee.

Yodha is jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Amazon Prime Video and Mentor Disciple Entertainment.
