Last week we were given a gift in Dortmund.
It’s been six days since the first leg and I’m still not sure how the game ended 1-0. It was a game full of great chances.
Both teams could have easily scored, PSG in particular, but almost every opportunity was wasted.
Notice how I said almost? That’s because there was one solitary occasion when they took one, and it was one of the hardest of all.
Niclas Fullkrug made a great shot to score the only goal of the game. He produced a touch and finish reminiscent of his counterpart Kylian Mbappé to ensure Dortmund start tonight with a one-goal lead.
As I write this post, I’m crossing my toes that we’re in for another night of incredible chaos.
The Champions League always delivers results, so I’m sure we will.
