Many football fans were baffled by the roast of Tom Brady on Netflix, and Travis Kelce was one of them.
Speaking in a new episode of his ‘new heights‘ podcast with his brother Jason, Travis admitted he wasn’t able to watch the event live on Netflix, but said clips from the show had left him “crying the whole last day.”
“That was amazing, first of all,” he said. ‘All involved, we take our hats off. I’ve been crying the whole last day, just watching the clips and everything.
“I congratulate everyone, because no one seemed to be hurt,” he continued. ‘It just seemed like everyone was having fun with it. But at the same time, that shit got me rolling because of how people were getting down everyone’s throats.
Brutal jokes directed at Brady included mockery of his marriage to his now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, as well as the Patriots’ Deflategate scandal, for which Brady was suspended four games in 2016.

The legendary quarterback was a good sport all night while being mocked.
And Travis and Jason won’t be having a barbecue anytime soon, with the former Eagles center saying he doesn’t understand why people subject themselves to cruel pranks.
“Ha ha ha, yes, my family is ruined, everyone is laughing,” Jason said mockingly.
Bundchen is reportedly “deeply disappointed” after the roast, which included several shocking jokes about her new romance with Joaquim Valente.
Nikki Glaser made a memorable reference to Valente, who is a jiu jitsu trainer, saying, ‘How much it would suck for Tom… just knowing that your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your ass while eating hers.’
A source said People that Bündchen was furious in the special.
“As always, (Bundchen’s) priority is supporting her children, who were affected by the irresponsible content that was aired,” the source continued.
For reasons like that, Travis and Jason won’t be doing a barbecue, but the brothers chose their ideal hypothetical lineups for one.

The couple named people like Dave Chappelle, Andrew Santino and Kevin Hart (who hosted Brady’s roast) as comedians they would want on stage.
Travis also nominated his teammate Patrick Mahomes, while Jason thought Darius Slay and Lane Johnson could bring some humor to the stage.
Travis praised Brady for being a good sport during the show, although even he felt a joke went too far.
The legendary quarterback criticized Jeff Ross for a Robert Kraft joke that referenced his misdemeanor charge for soliciting prostitution at a Florida spa in February 2019.
