Ariana Madix defends her decision not to talk to cheating ex Tom Sandoval in the season finale of Vanderpump Rules: “There is only one person who would benefit from that and that’s him”

Ariana Madix held her own while appearing on the After Show following the season finale of Vanderpump Rules.

The star, 38, insisted on not allowing her cheating ex Tom Sandoval to talk to her at a party shown in the season finale, despite criticism from Tom and co-star Lala Kent.

Ariana revealed that she didn’t want to talk to him because that moment on camera would only benefit him in trying to redeem his reputation, and that he never spoke to her over the summer or offered an apology while they were still residing in the same house. Scandoval (since he was off camera).

In March 2023, it was revealed that Tom Sandoval, 40, cheated on Ariana, his girlfriend of nine years, with one of her best friends, Raquel Leviss, for seven months.

Ariana found out about the affair when she was given Tom’s phone during one of his shows with his band, and saw a video of a sexual nature of Raquel on his phone.

Ariana said on the After Show, “There’s only one person who would benefit from anything that happened at that moment and that’s him,” referring to her chance to get on camera and apologize to fix her ruined reputation.

“There hasn’t been a single mention of anything all summer that comes close to remorse or kindness or anything coming from him in my direction. He knows this is the last moment he will have to redeem himself with the audience and I’m not here to facilitate it,” he said, referring to it being the end of the season.

“Him crying and me looking like an idiot, I’m not here to facilitate that,” he added.

‘Apparently I didn’t need to say anything so bad. She could have literally done it right then and there. He clearly knows how to send me meaningless letters of intent via email. “There are so many different ways to try to say something…he actually had nothing to do with me,” Ariana said.

Ariana noted that she has no desire or purpose to forgive her ex-boyfriend for his betrayals.

As for her critics who think she should talk to Tom or give him screen time to talk to her, Ariana stood her ground.

‘I encourage that person to read my contract and find out at any point where I have to do something that I don’t consider real or that I don’t want to do.

Ariana is referring to her People’s Choice Award for Contestant of the Year.

The drama began during the season finale of Vanderpump Rules, when Ariana was talking to her co-star Scheana Shay at a party in San Francisco.

Scheana was telling Ariana that Tom brought his sound guy to the bar they were at, where Scheana was singing, and how the person set everything up for her.

‘I’ve seen that genuine side of him that I’ve loved for 15 years, that he’s been a good friend to me. I hope he’s changing and getting better,” Scheana told him.

“He’s an ex-boyfriend of mine who doesn’t deserve to be in my presence and breathe the same air as me, and that won’t change.” he told Scheana.

And he added: “I never want him to talk to me again.” “I don’t want apologies,” Ariana said.

Ariana said in the confessional, “I don’t know why she thinks she knows this man better than I do, but it’s okay, girl, I’m happy for you.”

Tom approached them to talk to Ariana, and she wouldn’t allow it: she ran towards the production team and prepared to leave the party.

Vanderpump Rules executive producer Jeremiah Smith asked her to stay: “Ariana, seriously, don’t do this.”

Ariana told him: ‘He fucking comes up to me talking to Scheana. He doesn’t care if I died in a ditch or contracted a deadly fucking STD because of the way he was screwing around behind my back. ! That’s uninformed consent! And he doesn’t deserve to talk to me. He doesn’t have access to me.’

Co-star Lala Kent didn’t see Ariana’s point of view and was thinking to herself during the season finale, talking about how Ariana stood her ground against her cheating ex-boyfriend Tom.
