A woman was allegedly stabbed by a man near a bus stop outside a Westfield shopping center in Melbourne’s southeast.
The 35-year-old woman was waiting near a bus stop on Overland Drive outside Westfield Fountain Gate in Narre Warren when she was attacked at around 5.20pm on Sunday.
Emergency services attended the scene where paramedics treated the woman before taking her to Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman is understood to be in a serious but stable condition.

Police searched the area outside the center and initially did not find the alleged offender.
A 34-year-old man from Croydon was arrested in the neighboring suburb of Hallam shortly after the alleged stabbing.
Police charged the man with intentional injury, possession of a controlled weapon and robbery.
He is due to appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court on Monday.
