Ulrika Jonsson has broken her silence on social media following the death of her former lover Sven-Goran Eriksson on Monday.
The former England manager passed away on Monday morning at the age of 76 following his battle with pancreatic cancer.
Ulrika made headlines in 2002 when news broke of her scandalous romance with fellow Swede Sven, who at the time was in a long-term relationship with Nany Dell’Olio.
And while Nancy and several stars paid tribute to the football coach, Ulrika seemingly ignored his passing and instead shared a post on Instagram about National Dog Day.
The star, who often posts snaps of her beloved four-legged friends, shared a close-up image of what appeared to be her dog’s backside and noted that “every day” was National Dog Day.

Ulrika’s post comes months after she called Sven “not a decent person” after he revealed he was dying of terminal cancer.
The TV presenter took to Instagram in January to share a short post after the former England manager revealed the devastating news.
She shared an old photograph of herself on her Stories and insisted she had “nothing to say about Sven” and called him “not a decent person” in an accompanying caption.
The message, which has since been deleted, read: “Look how young I am. So… PSA: I have nothing to say about Sven. #nothing. I’m not a decent person.”
Sven had been with Italian lawyer Nancy, 63, for three years when they moved to England for his job as team manager.
But in early 2002, he began a romance with Ulrika.
She later wrote about his adventure:I continued searching for love, stopping briefly to seek something out under the sheets with Sven-Göran Eriksson, almost 60.
‘Do you remember him, the former England football manager?

“Yes, I’m trying to forget it too because sex was about as exciting as putting together an IKEA bookshelf, which makes my argument for a younger man inescapably compelling.”
Despite the affair with Ulrika, Sven’s partner supported him, but he later had another affair in 2004 with the then secretary of the Football Association, Faria Alam.
The story of the second affair was a major news story because Faria had also had an affair with the then FA chief executive, Mark Palios.
Speaking in an Amazon Prime documentary about his life, Sven spoke candidly about his affairs but insisted that “sex is one of the good things in life for all of us”, he was not married and he did not break any hearts.
Ulrika’s post comes months after she branded Sven “not a decent person” after he revealed he was dying of terminal cancer.
In January, Sven said he was trying to “appreciate every day” after being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer following five “mini strokes.”
Speaking about the moment his affair with Ulrika came about, he said: “Sex is one of the good things in life for all of us. She wasn’t married. I wasn’t married.
“I was probably stupid, but I don’t think I did anything criminal. I didn’t really bother anyone.”
He explained how Nancy had wanted to leave him, but changed her mind, saying: ‘She loved tension. She was a lady of Roman high society. She liked to hang out with important people.
“At first I didn’t react too much, but at a certain age you don’t change people. There was not always peace in my home.”
In August, Ulrika spoke openly about their affair, telling how Sven slipped a blank cheque from Britain’s most exclusive bank into her pocket during a “passionless” fling.

The TV presenter and model has kept Coutts’ cheque as a memento of their short-lived relationship, joking: “It would have been nice to refill it at some point for all the trouble he brought me.”
On August 16, following the release of a new documentary about her life, Ulrika said of their 16-week relationship: “It wasn’t a big passionate affair. There was no passion. He had all this power and money, but he was the weakest man I’ve ever met.”
“I don’t think there was even an ounce of romance in it,” she added, revealing that when they weren’t having sex they only talked about football.
They met at a party hosted by Tony Blair’s image adviser Alastair Campbell in 2002, when the former weather girl, then 34, asked him for an autograph. Sven, then 54, replied in Swedish and asked for her phone number.

He then bombarded her with phone calls while she was on holiday with Nancy, telling Ulrika how “beautiful” she was. When he returned home, they met up and had sex.
They then flew to Sven’s home in Portugal for a secret holiday between England games, sitting together at the front of the plane “laughing all the way”.
After a night together in the luxurious villa west of Lisbon, they returned home.
‘The next morning we left for the airport together and in the car he put a blank cheque from Coutts in my pocket when I wasn’t looking. He handed me a blank cheque which he put in my pocket when I wasn’t looking,’ he said in The Sun today.
Their four-month romance ended when it came to light in the press, but Ulrika claims Sven left her “abandoned”.
Speaking about Nancy, Ulrika said: ‘She should be grateful for me bringing her into the spotlight. When she hit the headlines, Nancy suddenly became famous. And she used that to her advantage. She would never have been on Strictly Come Dancing if it wasn’t for me.
Sven Goran Eriksson’s ex-lover Nancy Dell’Olio has hastily modified her tribute to her ex after accidentally referring to him as her ‘husband’ in a heartfelt post.
The 63-year-old lawyer and the Swede had previously dated for ten years and were thought to have never married, but Nancy referred to him as her husband as she reflected on their years together in the emotional post.
She has since retracted her words and changed the post to refer to Sven as her “ex-partner.”
“She says she was afraid (of leaving her). I have never fought over a man in my life. I know Nancy was clinging to Sven, but she really didn’t have anything to worry about.
‘He never promised me he would leave her, because I never asked him to.’
This comes after Nancy quickly modified her tribute to her ex after accidentally referring to him as her “husband” in a heartfelt post.

Nancy took to her Instagram to share a series of never-before-seen photos of them together and in the caption she called Sven her “ex-husband” and reflected on the ups and downs of the relationship, but insisted that “love never truly fades.”
