Donald Trump seized on President Joe Biden’s statement that he would be “happy” to debate and offered to meet his rival immediately in court or at the White House.
“You can do it whenever you want, including tonight.” I’m ready. Here we are. “I invited him to court,” Trump said Friday afternoon.
Trump indicated he was willing to be flexible about where and when, although daylong court sessions scheduled for most of the week limit his options.
“I just want to say that I have invited Biden to debate,” he said in Manhattan criminal court at the end of a day that featured testimony from former National Enquirer editor David Pecker and longtime Trump Organization aide , Rhona Graff.
‘You can do it any time you want, including tonight. Ready, where we are. I invited him to the courthouse,” Trump said, touting a place he had previously criticized for its “freezing” temperatures.
‘But we’re willing to do it on Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night or Friday night on national television. We are ready. Just tell me where,’ he said.
“We’ll do it in the White House; it would actually be very comfortable!” he teased her.
