And Kansas City’s latest victory came against Swift when the pop star cheered on her tight end boyfriend from a VIP suite at Allegiant Stadium as the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

Women overall tuned in at higher levels overall, up nine percent to 58.8 million. Women accounted for 47.5 percent of the total Super Bowl audience, narrowing the gap with their male counterparts to 6.14 million this year.
Women watching the championship game on CBS and Univision saw a 24 percent increase over last year’s Super Bowl, from 3.18 million to 3.95 million.
Girls ages 12 to 17 saw an increase of 11 percent, to 2.91 million. Boys of the same age only increased their viewership by six percent.
