Hollywood-backed Wrexham take on Birmingham City, the English football team backed by NFL legend Tom Brady, on Monday.
In what is arguably the most star-studded League One showdown in the history of British football’s third tier, other A-list sporting stars have joined in on the fun, including Brady’s old rival Eli Manning.
After Wrexham’s official account posted Manning in a Red Dragons shirt on Friday, he replied: “Now I can beat @TomBrady at football! Go @Wrexham_AFC!”
Brady had his reply to the former New York Giants quarterback, to whom he lost two Super Bowls.
Famous actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney own the new Welsh clubs, while Brady owns Birmingham City, who were relegated from the Championship last season.

Fox’s current number one commentator, who only just began his broadcasting career with a 10-year, $375 million contract, needed a chrome trophy to counter Manning and Wrexham.
“I’ve been working on our little response video to Eli and I’m looking around the house and I can’t find the other six,” Brady said, holding up the Lombardi Trophy.
Although Brady lost both Super Bowl appearances to the Giants, he won the NFL championship seven times and is one of the greatest players in league history.
“Rob, could you explain a little bit to the Wrexham fans about the history of the NFL?” Brady continued. “Thanks mate, I appreciate it. See you on Monday.”
Wrexham are away to Birmingham on Monday and Brady will be in the squad for the Saints-Cowboys game on Sunday afternoon. That would mean a quick flight from Texas to England if he could attend the game in person.
Birmingham and Wrexham have made a strong start to the League One season, as they are two of three teams in the division yet to lose a game, along with Stockport.
