Dramatic footage shows moment jilted husband who went on a spade rampage after finding his wife and brother having sex in a car while their mother sat in the front seat, is arrested for allegedly violating a restraining order .

David McCulloch, 41, grabbed a shovel and threatened to kill his wife, Jacinta King, and brother, Jamie McCulloch, when he found them having an affair in the back of a car in Devonport, northern Tasmania, the night of March 28.

He was particularly angry because his mother, Sue McCulloch, had driven them to the commission’s housing parking lot and was sitting in the driver’s seat while they had sex, seemingly unfazed by what was happening behind her.

McCulloch was granted bail in May and ordered to comply with an interim family violence order for the protection of Mrs King.

However, he allegedly violated the order during a second attack on the family’s government-owned home on the morning of July 19.

Dramatic video, obtained by Daily Mail Australia, shows several police cars, fire trucks and ambulances parked in front of the property, as officers smashed windows and burst inside.

Power was cut to the house and McCulloch, who was screaming and had locked himself in a room in the house, was dragged off the property, handcuffed and taken away by paramedics.

Neighbors said the extent of the emergency response was due to gasoline being spilled throughout the premises, raising fears for the family’s well-being.

In the video you can see several police officers breaking windows and doors to enter the house.

Relatives could be heard screaming and cursing.

Once McCulloch was outside, he could be heard shouting: ‘My bloody dog!’ before an officer ran down the driveway and retrieved the runaway pet.

A neighbor said she was woken up that morning by screams from the property.

He ran outside to see what was happening and saw McCulloch struggling on the ground as police attempted to handcuff him.

“He had a water bottle next to him, so I don’t know if he was pepper sprayed or something like that,” he said.

McCulloch was later charged with breaching a family violence order. The matter is before the courts.

The family moved out of the property after the altercation, but some of their belongings are still inside.

Last week McCulloch was sentenced at Burnie Supreme Court to three years in jail for the shoveling attack on March 28.

The violent altercation only ended when a concerned resident called the police.

The resident told Daily Mail Australia she saw Sue’s car outside that night, but didn’t realize what was happening until David grabbed the shovel and started hitting the vehicle.

She remembered him shouting: “You’re nothing but a dog, you damn dog, you’re meant to be my brother, how could you root for my wife?”

Sue closed the car doors and Jamie continued having sex with Jacinta, until David opened the car and started throwing punches.

David then turned to Sue and shouted: ‘You’re not a mother, you fucking moron, you’re nothing but a whore’ and pushed her into a wheelie bin.

Daily Mail Australia previously revealed McCulloch’s mother facilitated the affair between her brother and his wife because she was the only one with a driver’s licence.

McCulloch’s wife, Mrs. King, had ordered her mother-in-law to remain in the vehicle during their encounter, and she obeyed.

While McCulloch is behind bars, King and his brother Jamie are staying together in a squalid trailer parked in the driveway of a suburban home.

When approached for comment, Jamie described the situation as “pig-washing” but was otherwise unable to articulate a coherent sentence.

When asked if he knew if his brother was in jail, Jamie laughed and murmured: “I know.”

On Thursday, the new couple drove together to the Salvation Army store in Devonport and looked disappointed when it closed.

McCulloch will be eligible for parole in 2025.
