The body of Mike Lynch’s missing daughter Hannah has been recovered from the wreck of the Bayesian superyacht, as Italian authorities launch a manslaughter investigation into the sinking that left six people dead

A body believed to be that of Mike Lynch’s daughter Hannah has been found, the sixth and final person missing after a luxury yacht sank in a storm off the coast of Sicily, the Italian Coast Guard said.

Vincenzo Zagarola, of the Italian Coast Guard, formerly He said the search for Hannah has not been “easy or quick,” comparing the sunken yacht to an “18-story building filled with water.”

Mr Zagarola said: “From the outset it was not easy or quick to inspect the ship. Imagine an 18-storey building filled with water.”

Mr Lynch, his daughter, Morgan Stanley International bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo were lost when the yacht sank at about 5am local time on Monday.

The search for Hannah began again early today.
