One surprised Brit stumbled upon one kangaroo chewing on toilet roll, while another chewed paper towels in the men's room.

Matt Trayner, 29, filmed the bizarre scene after drinking with his girlfriend and friends during their first night of camping in Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia.

The video, filmed on Friday, shows a kangaroo chewing in the middle of the room, while the other can be seen while eating from a cupboard.

The footage then cuts to show a kangaroo eating the paper towels from a dispenser by the sink.

The video ends with zooming in on the kangaroo in the middle of the room eating quietly while Mr Trayner is watching him.

Mr. Trayner can be heard saying: & # 39; Guys, what's wrong? They eat the toilet paper. Guys, that's not nutritious – what are you doing? & # 39;

The group encountered the hungry marsupials when they staggered to the improvised bathrooms at Wilpena Pound Resort.

Engineer Matt walked around the corner and pushed open the door to find the two kangaroos.

The one ate a long roll of hand roller & # 39; as a conveyor belt & # 39; while the tail of the other protruded out of the cupboard door.

Mr. Trayner, originally from Caterham, Surrey, thought it was & # 39; so hilarious & # 39; that he immediately grabbed his phone to film the scene.

Now living in Adelaide, he said: & # 39; You can't imagine having to fight for the empty with two kangaroos who & # 39; Smack on toilet paper late at night.

& # 39; It was a surreal experience and also a very funny one.

& # 39; The one in the open air was just chewing on the hand roll, all of which had been pulled out in a long white line, like a conveyor belt.

& # 39; And the second one was in the cupboard and at one point only his tail was sticking out.

& # 39; We had all had some drinks that night too, so that made the view even more fun!

& # 39; They were seen skipping around the campsite, so they obviously didn't bother being around people. & # 39;
