The Houston Texans were dealt a blow on Tuesday when it was confirmed that Stefon Diggs suffered a season-ending injury.
The star receiver suffered a non-contact knee injury during the Texans’ win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and was not expected to play when the team travels to New York to play the Jets on Thursday night.
However, it has now been revealed that Diggs will not be returning to the field this season.
On Tuesday afternoon it was confirmed that the receiver tore his ACL, ending his season.
Diggs was traded to the Texans from the Buffalo Bills in April to elevate Houston’s wide receiver corps to one of the best in the NFL.
