SWAT team members raided rapper Sean Kingston’s home in Southwest Ranches, Florida, and arrested his mother on Thursday.
Dozens of Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were seen at his mansion in the area of southwest 146th Avenue and 46th Street.
Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, 61, was arrested on numerous charges of fraud and theft.
The reason for the raid has not been confirmed, but the Beautiful Girls singer, 34, is currently embroiled in a legal battle over stolen goods.
“Detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Dania Beach District, along with members of the BSO Strategic Investigations Unit and Davie Police SWAT, served arrest and search warrants at a residence in Southwest Ranches,” the sheriff’s office told DailyMail.com.

A lawsuit obtained by local10 revealed that a company called Ver Ver Entertainment is accusing Kingston of using his celebrity status to defraud companies.
The complaint alleges that the rapper partially paid for a 232-inch television and entertainment system but, after installation, never paid for the product in full.
