Several reports suggest that Sakshi Tanwar has been approached for an important role in the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayan, starring Ranbir Kapoor, are doing the rounds on social media. The film, based on the Hindu epic, has created a lot of controversy over its casting choices. However, recent updates reveal that the actress, best known for her role in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, has refuted claims about her involvement in the project. According to a report by Filmibeat, there are rumors that Sakshi Tanwar was in talks to play Queen Mandodari, Raavan’s wife in the epic saga.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Sakshi Tanwar denied any association with the film and said, “I have not been approached. Thank you.” The final cast announcement from the filmmakers is eagerly awaited.

While the official cast of Ramayanremains unknown, industry insiders continue to speculate about the potential actors joining the project. Adding to the intrigue, actress Indira Krishna shared a picture with Ranbir Kapoor on her Instagram, hinting at her involvement in the film. In the photo, both actors were clothed rudraksha malas (rosary), possibly indicating preparation for their respective roles. In another viral image, Ranbir Kapoor, who reportedly played Lord Ram, was seen taking archery lessons, crucial to his character in the upcoming film.
