Ryan Garcia ARRESTED in Los Angeles in latest shocking incident for troubled boxer

Ryan Garcia has been arrested in Los Angeles for felony vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills.

According to TMZThe boxer was arrested and taken into custody on Saturday afternoon after apparently causing property damage to the hotel, including the room he was staying in.

TMZ claims Garcia was “apparently under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs” but cooperated with authorities during his arrest.

The 25-year-old beat Devin Haney earlier this year, but his erratic behavior in the build-up led many to question whether he was mentally stable enough to fight. He failed a doping test after his surprise victory.

TMZ reported earlier this week that Garcia was searched by police at the same hotel after a call from a family member who was concerned about his well-being. The offers apparently determined that he was fine and that was the end of the matter.

But his arrest Saturday in California is the latest worrying episode for Garcia.

In December 2023, he divorced his wife Andrea Celina immediately after the birth of their second child.

Then, ahead of his long-awaited showdown with Haney in April, he sparked widespread fears about the state of his mental health with a series of disturbing and bizarre online rants, including one alleging his throat had been slit.

Garcia also claimed to have been raped at a young age by a family member, while alleging that “the elites” tied him up in the forest and forced him to witness the rape of children.

Amid concerns about his mental state, he arrived almost four pounds overweight for his fight against WBC super lightweight champion Haney, meaning he did not claim that title despite his victory that night.

And following his points win in Brooklyn, it was later learned that Garcia had tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine the day before and the day of the fight, before his B-sample tests returned the same result.

However, his team claims that the B sample results prove their man innocent, insisting that he is simply a victim of supplement contamination.
